My girlfriend showed me this video yesterday by egoraptor which I found very interesting. If you are interested in good game design and hate the modern tedious tutorials then it's worth a watch:

Ha! Love it :) Similar things can and have been said about the Super Mario Bros. games, of course -- at least the 8-bit and 16-bit ones -- and I think they're true in both instances. Anyway, it kills me that devs would rather put these annoying "tutorials" in their games than show people what to do through level design, etc. Ugh.
